Care and Care Plan
Maintaining dignity and attending to personal healthcare and welfare are key. Our Carers can help as needed, with bathing, dressing and the administration of medication. All our carers recognise that providing a sense of community and social interaction with residents are important aspects of our residents' quality of life. We actively promote, encourage and honour individual choice in every aspect of our residents' care plan.
Our carefully selected team, on duty 24 hours, is headed by our highly trained Registered Manager, Lynda Fletcher, who has many years experience caring for the elderly, she is therefore fully aware of both their physical and emotional needs. All in all, this means that reassuring, 24-hour support is available for older people who want to enjoy life to the full in a comfortable and homely environment.
Professional Staff
Our highly trained and experienced care assistants in constant attendance day & night, supported by District Nurses, GP's and other visiting healthcare professionals, together make Menwinnion Country House a comfortable and pleasant environment for care of the elderly, with a real sense of community while respecting every resident's independence and dignity.
All staff employed at our care homes will be appropriately qualified or undergoing suitable training. This ensures that we continue to maintain the high standards of professional person-centred care on which our excellent reputation, amongst the local community and health and social care professionals, is based. We continue to monitor and implement the latest developments and standards of care as stipulated by the Care Quality Commission.
